Lana Choy has years of experience serving the people of Gregg, Harrison, and Upshur County, providing them with excellent legal services. She has been a practicing attorney since 2010. A native of Gregg County, Texas, Lana received a Political Science degree from the University of Texas in Austin in 2006. She then enrolled at Syracuse College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2009.
Since she merged offices with her brother to form the Choy Law Firm, Lana has primarily focused on criminal defense and family law. She handles both felony and misdemeanor criminal cases and spends a large portion of her time handling divorce cases, child custody cases, and Department of Family and Protective Services cases. "Every case is different, but they are also the same. It's a form of storytelling," Lana says of her cases. "Your job is to convince the audience, whoever they are, of your version of the events."
Lana is a graduate of TCDLA's Trial College and a member of the Gregg County's Bar Association. She is also a member of the Longview Dog Park Board, the Rainbow Room Board, and a Gregg County Texas Exes member.
